Dan Reiter is the Samuel Candler Dobbs Professor of Political Science at Emory. His general research interests are: causes and outcomes of international and internal conflicts; connections between domestic and international politics; quantitative methods and international relations; international alliances; decision-making; and US foreign policy. His current research interests are: counterinsurgency; proliferation; secrecy; and why democracies win wars.
