Environmental Policy & Regulation
Bringing rigorous policy analysis and governance expertise to the defining environmental challenges of our time, from climate and energy to infrastructure, public health, and environmental inequality.
Overview
Faculty engage with federal agencies, regulatory institutions, and the governance challenges of environmental policy. Their work spans environmental regulation, energy policy, climate change, and the ways environmental risk intersects with inequality, public health, and long-term economic stability. A distinctive strength is the focus on environmental inequality and risk analysis, examining how the burdens of pollution, poor infrastructure, and climate vulnerability fall unevenly across communities, alongside attention to how institutions and behavioral forces shape environmental outcomes.
