Craig Lindqvist serves as Chief Operating Officer of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association (CAIA) Association, where he leads global operations, finance, technology, human resources, legal, and administrative functions. With a focus on fostering a high-performance, mission-driven culture across international teams and by scaling systems, analytics, and processes,  he supports CAIA’s growing global reach and community.

Craig brings more than two decades of leadership experience across global professional associations and higher education. Prior to joining CAIA, he served as Associate Dean for Administration at the University of Virginia’s Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, where he oversaw finance, technology, facilities, and operations. During a 15-year tenure at CFA Institute, he rose to Head of Global Business Operations, leading an international team supporting operations across seven countries and a network of 150 member societies spanning 80 markets.

Earlier in his career, Craig worked as an engineer at Honeywell and Boeing before serving in the U.S. Navy; experiences that shaped his systems-thinking approach to leadership and operational excellence. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and an MBA from the University of Colorado Boulder, as well as a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Virginia.
