Jason Bell is the Associate Director for Career Advancement at the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, where he primarily advises undergraduate students on career exploration and professional development. His work emphasizes preparing students for impactful roles in public service by helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to navigate today’s evolving career landscape.

Jason’s background includes more than 25 years of experience leading people and programs with the U.S. Air Force, including directing large-scale leadership training initiatives at multiple universities. He has a track record of building collaborative teams, mentoring emerging leaders, and developing programs recognized at the national level for their impact.

Outside of Batten, Jason contributes to the Charlottesville community through nonprofit volunteering and coaching on the baseball and softball fields. He combines academic training in leadership, strategy, and business with a passion for developing future leaders in his student-centered approach to career design.
