Jennifer Sublette is the Director of Academic Operations at the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy. In this role, she oversees Batten’s academic operations, coordinating academic policy, accreditation, class scheduling, instructional support, and student advising, with a strong focus on creating a coordinated student experience that supports academic success. She supervises the Academic Operations team and partners with faculty and colleagues across the University to ensure Batten students receive comprehensive support throughout their academic journey.

Jenn joined the Batten School after a distinguished 30-year career in K–12 education, where she served in a variety of leadership roles, including high school principal and director of professional learning. She brings extensive experience in building collaborative partnerships, leading complex initiatives, and supporting student success. A proud double Hoo, Jenn earned a B.A. in History and Art History and an Ed.S. in K–12 Administration and Supervision from the University of Virginia. She also holds an M.A.T. in Secondary Social Studies from American University.

Outside of work, Jenn enjoys spending time with her family, taking advantage of Charlottesville’s restaurant scene, and staying active.
