Her Excellency Emily Haber, Ambassador of Germany to the United States, will speak from 4:00-5:15 p.m. on November 12 in the University of Virginia Rotunda Dome Room. Significant time will be dedicated to questions from the audience. This event is a part of the UVA Center for Politics Ambassador Series in partnership with the UVA Office of the Vice Provost for Global Affairs, Center for German Studies, European Studies Program, and the UVA College of Arts and Sciences Department of Germanic Languages & Literatures.

Thanks to the generous and transformative gift of Richard and Donna Tadler, SE@UVA will now offer a deeply-immersive J-term course in Appalachia and Southwest Virginia. The course is open to UVA students minoring in social entrepreneurship who now have the opportunity to experience first-hand the challenges facing this region and the role impact investing can play in its impact rebirth.

Join the UVA Center for Politics Ambassador Series with His Excellency Carlos dos Santos, Ambassador of Mozambique to the United States. The event will open with a welcome by Professor Larry Sabato and proceed with a speech by Ambassador dos Santos that will focus on the relationship between our countries and issues impacting Mozambique and Southern Africa.
