The internship is a core requirement of the Master of Public Policy degree required during the summer between the first and second years. Students can pursue internships in any policy field or employment sector. The minimum requirement is 400 hours.
We keep an active list of re-occurring opportunities in federal, local and state governments.
We do have limited financial aid for students accepting unpaid internships with nonprofit organizations and government entities. Click here for additional details.
We recommend that you prepare early. Some internships have early fall application deadlines (e.g. the CIA, the U.S. Department of State, and many private sector consulting firms).
