Gianpaolo Licata is the Associate Director of Academic Operations.  Gianpaolo recently joined the Batten School after his work in student success, academic advising, and student-athlete support at Hartwick College, UVA, and Virginia Commonwealth University.  He completed his undergraduate degree in History at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and received his Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from King’s College.  He is especially intrigued by the effects of collective trauma on human development and the educational interventions that can help mitigate it. Gianpaolo recently welcomed his first child with his partner Emma. They enjoy making a home out in the nearby country with their pups Levi, Lincoln, and Leroy.
