The program focuses on understanding how public policy decisions are made; how civic leaders in government, non-profit organizations, and the private sector contribute to collective problem solving; and how policy decisions affect public problems in communities. The program provides undergraduate students with a unique opportunity to earn a bachelor's degree from a professional school, allowing for easy progression to advanced degree programs and employment across the sectors. The major consists of 42 credits including a capstone seminar completed the final semester of the fourth year.
