Impeachment Pop-Up Roundtable

President Trump is only the third president in U.S. history to have been formally impeached by the House of Representatives. The Miller Center, along with the Center for Politics, the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, UVA Law’s Karsh Center, and the Jefferson and Literary Debating Society, is assembling some of UVA’s leading experts on the presidency and the Constitution to offer context and answer questions from the audience.

The Miller Center's Director of Presidential Studies Barbara Perry will host the nonpartisan, bipartisan panel, which includes Deborah Hellman, the David Lurton Massee, Jr., Professor of Law and the Roy L. and Rosamond Woodruff Morgan Professor of Law at the University of Virginia; Kyle Kondik, communications director for the Center for Politics and the managing editor of Sabato’s Crystal Ball; and Chris Lu, former deputy secretary of labor under President Obama.
