Pre-Game: Super Tuesday

On the eve of Super Tuesday, the biggest day of the presidential nominating season, the Batten School and UVA Center for Politics will bring together a panel of experts to analyze the 2020 election.

“Pre-game: Super Tuesday” will be moderated by Heather Caygle, a congressional reporter for Politico, and will feature panelists Jocelyn Kiley, associate director of research at Pew Research Center; Rohini Kosoglu, senior adviser to Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) and former chief of staff to Harris’ presidential campaign; Tara Setmayer, a political commentator for CNN and ABC News as well as a former Republican communications director on Capitol Hill; and Mara Suttmann-Lea, assistant professor of government at Connecticut College.

The panel will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight, Monday, March 2, at Garrett Hall’s Great Hall on the Grounds of the University of Virginia. Members of the media are welcome to attend as are members of the public with advanced registration here

Monday’s forum is part of “Democracy in Perilous Times: Unprecedented Challenges and Controversies,” an ongoing program series organized by the Center for Politics and the Batten School as part of the National Symposium Series. This event is also part of a Center for Politics series celebrating the centennial of Women's Suffrage.
