The Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy is proud to announce the launch of the Batten Benefactors Society, an annual leadership giving program designed to recognize the School’s most generous donors and inspire others to contribute.

“The Batten School exists today because of philanthropy,” said Dean Allan Stam. “Frank Batten, Sr. had a dream, and through his gifts helped build this school we all love. We value the contributions of all our supporters, and the Batten Benefactors Society will establish an annual opportunity to celebrate our lead donors in a meaningful way.”

Growing quickly, the Batten Benefactors Society has already attracted new members—all united in their desire to support the School and further the study of leadership and public policy. Donor support is critical to the livelihood of the Batten School, which was founded thanks to a generous gift. To honor members and their generosity, the School will host a gala in the fall during which attendees will learn about the state of the Batten School and hear from a keynote speaker.

Batten alumni are at different stages in their careers, and giving levels are pro-rated based on an individual’s association with the School. Members of the Batten School’s three boards will champion this initiative along with the School to further strengthen the Batten community—a community dedicated to transforming students into agents of change, equipped to lead from anywhere.
