Admissions & Aid Applying to Batten Applying to Undergraduate Programs Applying to the Minor in Social Entrepreneurship Applying to the Minor in Social Entrepreneurship REQUEST MORE INFO PROGRAM FAQS Application Information The Minor in Social Entrepreneurship is available to current UVA undergraduate students from any major and is one of three concentrations within the Entrepreneurship Minor at UVA, which is administratively hosted within the McIntire School of Commerce. Interested students should first take ENTP 1010: Startup to gain access to the minor application. Students who are enrolled in or have completed the Startup class may then apply to the Entrepreneurship Minor through the McIntire School and indicate the social entrepreneurship concentration on their application. Upon acceptance to the Minor in Social Entrepreneurship, students must complete a core and capstone course through the Batten School, which—in addition to the Startup class—will count toward the 15 credits required to complete the Entrepreneurship Minor. Two electives round out the course of study and are chosen from among 45 options offered across the university. PROGRAM FAQS Do you want to see a sample application?
