On Wednesday, March 16, 2016, the Batten School hosted a forum for candidates running in the Fifth Congressional District. The discussion was moderated by Dean Allan Stam and Professor Gerald Warburg.

Candidates were asked questions on public policy matters relevant to Fifth District, as well as domestic and foreign policy. All declared candidates for the Fifth District seat were invited to participate. Candidates appearing included Michael Del Rosso, Thomas Garrett, Andrew Griffin, James McKelvey and Joseph Whited.
