Castleman Named One of Most Innovative People in Higher Education

Benjamin Castleman, assistant professor at EdPolicyWorks, is named in the top 16 most innovative people in higher education by Washington Monthly. This list includes individuals that are finding innovative ways to deliver higher education from providing quality degrees at lower cost, getting more students to graduate and more. Castleman and his research on summer melt and text messaging interventions are highlighted, as well as his work with First Lady Michelle Obama on the Better Make Room campaign. 

Castleman joins other noteworthy academics in higher education and education policy, including Batten School Advisory Board Member Nicole Hurd from the College Advising Corps, Tim Renick from Georgia State University, and many others.
