Former Congressmen Davis and Frost Discuss "The Partisan Divide" at Batten

The Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, FCG Consulting, Virginia Policy Review, and the Jefferson Literary and Debating Society hosted a conversation with former Congressmen Tom Davis (R-VA) and Martin Frost (D-TX) on the nature of partisan politics in modern elections in early November. They discussed the recent Virginia elections, the 2016 cycle, their book, “The Partisan Divide,” and more.

Tom Davis is a former seven-term Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Virginia’s 11th congressional district in Northern Virginia, and currently serves as the Rector and Professor at George Mason University. He is also Government Relations director at Deloitte Consulting.

Martin Frost is an attorney at Polsenelli and president of America Votes. He was the Democratic representative to the U.S. House of Representatives for Texas’s 24th congressional district from 1979 to 2005, and was the first Jewish congressman from Texas. Frost is also a political commentator for Fox News.
