Cat McCue brings extensive communications, storytelling, public service, and policy experience to the Batten School from her prior roles at the UVA Office for Sustainability, Charlottesville-based environmental nonprofit organizations Appalachian Voices and Southern Environmental Law Center, and the Roanoke Times. Cat received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Tennessee, minoring in dance, and her Master of Journalism from the University of California at Berkeley. She is an alumna of the Scripps Fellowship for Environmental Journalism and the Virginia Natural Resources Leadership Institute. She is an avid hiker and camper, and rides her bike to work more often than not.
