Born and raised in Southern California, Admissions Coordinator Estrella Burks-Parra is a 2023 graduate of Washington and Lee University. During her time at W&L she was a politics and theatre double major, with a law, justice and society minor. She graduated with honors in theatre after writing a full-length play and directing a staged reading of the piece as the culmination of her theatre major. Estrella worked in admissions for four years at W&L, helping to recruit, interview and share information about the university and all that it had to offer. She is currently completing her M.A. in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership from the University of Alabama.
