<< Back to Directory Ka Wui Jimmy Yung Pre-doctoral Research Associate Education & Training BA, Economics (Data Science specialization), University of Chicago frw7ct@virginia.edu Ka Wui Jimmy Yung is a pre-doctoral research associate in the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy at the University of Virginia. At Batten, he is working with faculty members researching the effects of changes in US public policies on outcomes like income, labor supply, and well-being using experimental and observational approaches. He is interested in how introductions of policies and changes in their conditions affect individual and state level behavior as well as the mechanics within which they lie. Besides domestic policies, he is also most interested in development and the environment, including their interplay. He is currently investigating the effects of disease control programs in South America. Yung received his Bachelor’s in Economics (specialization in Data Science) from the University of Chicago in 2024. View All
