Kara Ross is the Research Lab Coordinator at the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, where she manages day-to-day operations in the School's behavioral and experimental research lab and supports multiple faculty members with their research needs.

Ross worked in human resources at a government contracting agency for three years before joining Batten to better align her work with her interest in eventual further study in psychology. A 2020 graduate of James Madison University, Kara holds a BS in Psychology with double minor in Human Resource Development and Public Policy & Administration.
