Wyckoff Receives APPAM’s 2015 Raymond Vernon Memorial Award

James Wyckoff, professor of education and public policy and director of EdPolicyWorks, will receive the 2015 Raymond Vernon Memorial Award from the Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management (APPAM).

APPAM recognizes excellence in research by annually selecting a research paper published in the current volume of the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management (JPAM) to receive the Vernon Memorial Prize. The award winning paper entitled “Incentives, Selection and Teacher Performance: Evidence from IMPACT” was completed with colleague Thomas S. Dee from Stanford University.

JPAM previously highlighted this article as a 2015 feature in the journal. Wyckoff and Dee’s research paper was selected by peer-reviewed panel and considered among all published and forthcoming papers in JPAM. The award winners will be recognized at the APPAM Fall Research Conference in Miami, Florida in mid-November and in the journal.
