Eileen Chou, the Batten Family Bicentennial Teacher-Scholar Leadership Associate Professor of Public Policy at the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy at the University of Virginia, was a recent guest on the UVA Speaks podcast. She explained her definition of leadership and the belief that leaders are made and not born. Drawing upon her research and that of others in her field, Chou detailed some key skills one should master to be a good leader and the most important takeaway she hopes her students will remember.
